Registration plates must be visible, clean and not obscured.
Examples of when a number plate may be obscured or indistinguishable:
- Not keeping the plate clean.
- Placing the number plate in the windscreen.
- Deliberately changing the appearance of a letter or number.
- Partially damaged plates.
- Obscured by a trailer or external bike rack.
Plates must be kept clean, especially in the winter months!
Plates cannot be displayed in the windscreen.
