Failing to comply with the following sings, lights or road markings whilst driving or propelling a non-motor vehicle is an offence:

  • Give way sign
  • Directional arrow sign.
  • Roundabout sign.
  • Vehicle priority sign.
  • Bus, tram or cycle route sign.
  • Manually operated stop sign.
  • Convoy escort no overtaking sign.
  • Stop road works sign.
  • Mobile road works directional sign.
  • Give way road markings.
  • Bus stop road markings.
  • Solid white lines and chevrons dividing traffic lanes on a length of carriageway or slip road.
  • Box junction road markings.
  • Stop sign.
  • Double white line road markings.
  • Red light.
  • Light signals for the control of traffic at a level crossing.
  • Light signals for the control of traffic at a swing or lifting bridge.
  • Light signals for the control of traffic at an airfield.
  • Light signals for the control of traffic in the vicinity of premises used by fire and rescue, police or ambulance vehicles.
  • School crossing patrol stop sign.
  • Road markings delineating a pedestrian crossing.
  • Weak bridge or road sign.
  • Zig-zag markings in the vicinity of a school.
  • Solid white line marking the boundary of a with-flow cycle lane.
  • No entry sign.
